You might have to use an external API. I came across this one that may fit your use case. I could see caching the results since routing numbers for banks/CUs would hardly ever change. Requests are limited 100 per hour but it is free.

External Bank Name Display or ABA Mapping
We are building a feature where we are showing all of the user's accounts including their externally linked accounts. Is there any endpoint we can use to return the actual institution's name? The GetAccountList api endpoint shows the ABA of the external institution but not the acutal name. It would be nice to mimic the "Manage External Accounts" screen which shows the institution's name but I have been unable to find any API or SDK call or EVE data table that brings that data forward.
