Hello, considering you are apart of the file your taxes company. You can do this in your development environment by running your service, inspecting and choosing your phone type of choice to see what it is like. If you want a true mobile screenshot you can see documentation here: https://docs.q2developer.com/guides/mobile_dev/index.html

Hello,
I would have to step through the code and look at the db to see exactly why this isn't getting triggered. It looks like it should work. My guess is the account isn't listed in the db quite as you are expecting. I would recommend making a support case on q2developer.com and we can walk through your specific situation and try and track it down.
If anyone is coming to this curious about account filtering. There is more information about Hydra Product codes here: https://docs.q2devel...
Hello Tanner,
Without seeing the error, it is a bit hard to tell what the issue is. I am curious on how you are running q2 update_installed in Staging, that is a dev only thing. In Staging, the tools may call that under the hood. Though, typically you just add the key and value in the config in the interface. If you create a ticket on q2developer.com we can help track down what the issue is.

q2 downloads and builds from package.json at build time so you can add node_modules to .gitignore https://code.q2developer.com/Q2Antilles/sdk-examples/sdk-tecton-examples/-/blob/master/.gitignore
I am not exactly sure what you are asking but dev.q2api.com, stage.q2api.com, and prod.q2api.com are all the same repository underneath. There will be almost no differences between the environments.
Hello,
A few things with this one. One, based on the logs, you are trying to hit a sandbox environment. You need to use dev.q2api.com To see what each url is for see https://docs.q2api.com/docs/q2-caliper-api/ZG9jOjU1MTc2OTk5-q2-caliper-api
Two, you are using the environments button group. There is a bug with dev environments, I just put up a PR to fix it. So next release(probably next week will fix that issue). For now, you can you the environment scope instead see the guide here: http...
Hello,
There is a way to pull a member id on the banking core. However, it is slightly different for every Financial Institution(FI). Sometimes it is customer_id, sometimes it is primary cif, sometimes it is a custom field on user data. There is a lot of ways this is identified for various FIs. In general, we recommend to not tie to the core at all whenever possible whether you are an FI or a third party developer. If you really need data from the core, please make a support case on q2deve...
Hello Cindy,
The Q2SDK is written in Python and therefore, SDK extensions are generally written in Python. Or if you mean like written and spoken languages, ui_text makes multiple language support simple see the documentation here: https://docs.q2developer.com/guides/online_integration/ui_text.html Secure messages are well supported with the SDK you can see a proper guide on this here: https://docs.q2developer.com/guides/notifications/secure_message.html

Hello Jason,
I went ahead and logged into your box and fixed your issue. If someone runs into this in the future, for some reason Rust isn't installed. On the Shared Dev this is fixed by running upgrade_python_version python3.11 then if SDK is missing you can just manually pip install q2-sdk just make sure if you manually update the SDK version like this you change your requirements.txt file to reflect that.
If you run into this issue on Local Dev use Caliper_admin to rebuild your...
Hello Steven,
From talking to my team you are correct. The HostUser and HostPwd are used by a very few select Financial Institutions to connect to the core. These Financial Institutions have a login to the core per user on top of the connection to the core. In general, there is no reason for you to use these columns.

Hello Draden,
You can either use overpanels or just route to your extension with tecton's navigateTo https://tecton.q2developer.com/capabilities/navigateTo
Hope this helps,
Trey
Hello Draden,
There are a few ways to do this. To just have a simple DEV, STG, or PROD. Import from q2_sdk.core.configuration import settings then call settings.DEPLOY_ENV to get 'DEV', 'STG', or 'PROD'. This will only differentiate between those three and FIs can have multiple 'STG' environments. So do be careful how you depend on this variable.
If you need environment specific data like for every installed location I recommend using Wedge_Address_Configs(https://docs.q2developer.c...
Hello Dan,
There are a few options, I think the most basic is doing a periodic job https://docs.q2developer.com/tutorials/periodic/index.html. Do a paginated call for all users of like 1000 users at a time and do core calls to retrieve that data then store it in the db for that user. This still might be kinda expensive to do all those calls.
So if you have a cheaper way to pull all of them at once, you can create a batch file and have your periodic job pull from that.
Another option...
Hello,
the best way is either to use the aba or something in the wedge_address_config (which can be different for every FI) and then append this to the user_id. See the below for explanation on the first part.
In SDK versions of 2.164.0 and newer, hq_credentials is pulled from vault properly for multitenant extensions. So now you can just do self.hq_credentials.aba
Alternatively, you can use wedge_address_configs here: https://docs.q2developer.com/tutorials/online_banking/configur...
Hello,
A few things to tackle, first in general yes store things in your own db. If you put things in the q2 db that would change the db schema for whatever environments you are in and q2 would have access to that data. Which would be most q2 developers and support personnel. Of course, we can't just look at production data unless we are authorized to.
Of course, when you run your own database you have that additional freedom. The most common practice is when the user navigates to your ...
Looks like that stored proc needs to be updated, running a q2 setup_db should fix it.
You can see how it looks in mobile by changing your browser to the mobile version. Right rail items will be found by clicking the more button in the top right.
Hope this helps,
Trey
Hello Ethan,
You can see the exact sql used for this here: https://code.q2developer.com/Q2Antilles/q2-sdk/-/blob/develop/sdk/q2_sdk/sql_scripts/10-get_active_users_since.sql
Getting that number of users is going to be very expensive. I would recommend getting like 1000 at a time and then looping incrementing the page_number untill you get all the users which would be when it returns 0 rows back.

Hello,
Sorry for the delayed response. There are a few options. One to open vscode in the context of that spot in the terminal you can do code . The other is by opening vscode and manually navigating to the directory.
For starting the new project, I recommend instead cloning your project from gitlab. So this means yes Start New Project then clone_from_gitlab. Then you will use the repository provided to you which you can access from your dashboard.
If you need further assistan...
The most likely thing that you are missing is you forgot to run your server with q2 run. Or there was an exception in your server logs. Could be any number of things though. I would check that, then probably do a q2 update_installed --my-ip to make sure the form is pointed to my machine. Then I would probably uninstall the form and reinstall the form with q2 uninstall then q2 install then q2 add_to_nav. If that doesn't work then I would make a support case on https://q2developer.com/support/c...
Hello Justin,
There is a way to do this in the context of an SDK extension apart of the session. Take note that Caliper API is a SDK extension so everything that you can do with Caliper API you can do in an SDK extension. I will copy some of that code for you to be able to do what you are looking for. As a backdrop, Caliper API uses the AccessCode DbObject see documentation here: https://docs.q2developer.com/api_references/q2_sdk/db/db_objects/access_code.html#module-q2_sdk.hq.db.access_co...
There is a unique constraint on the Q2_UserLogon table. It is a combination of the LoginName and UISourceId. So that combination must be unique. UISourceID is a refrence to the kind of interface OnlineBanking, TextBanking, VoiceBanking, and there could potentially be others. Those are the primary examples. So when you do "Forgot Password" the login for that UISource is unique with the LoginName so it goes to exactly one LoginName returns if it exists. Note this is at the db level. So the same...
Hello Ethan,
For getting the accounts, use your choice of GetUserAccountList. The result should contain the CIF.
For getting the User based on an internal CIF you can use the User db object. https://docs.q2developer.com/api_references/q2_sdk/db/db_objects/user.html?highlight=getuser#q2_sdk.hq.db.user.User.get
Hope this helps,

To get rid of this you need to remove all print() statements in your code and replace them with self.logger.info
Hello,
For SDK services the below applies:
If you are entitled to the service you can see the hash of the service which would allow you to see what is running in the environment. This does require the self service tools permisions which is currently limited. To get access to this, you need to reach out in the support cases: https://q2developer.com/support/create?ticketType=General
Also, by opening a ticket you can request the hash of what is running in your FI production environment...
There should not be anything keeping the script from running other than what the browser deems not valid scripting language. As long as you send the script to the frontend it will run.
If the FI is running SDK extensions they will have an SDK version for that service, but every service can have different SDK versions. So a given FI can have any number of service running in their environment. The SDK version for a particular service is dependent on requirements.txt and this can be upgraded by using q2 upgrade.
The FI does have a few services that are locked to versions. Normal development does not require knowing this in general, but working with some new features may req...
Hello, in general internally I just use google chrome(most web browser support this functionality) and to see the mobile version I will inspect the page and just use the mobile button to view what it will look like in mobile. Sometimes to debug differences between mobile app and mobile browser we will use the mobile app. You can also set up that with https://docs.q2developer.com/guides/mobile_dev/index.html. We also will use the mobile app to develop mobile app specific functionality.

Hello, the missing .env/bin/activate is because you are missing your virtual environment. It looks like you are also set to internal stacks. This will not work unless you are a Q2 employee. So you need to do 7 to switch from internal to external. Then, you need to do 4 to build the virtual environment(which does require having Python version installed so step 3 if you haven't done so). You also will probably want to do 6 at some point also after all that.
Hopefully this helps.

There is definitely a way to do this. I don't think anything is in the Catalog that can do this, you are welcome to look through it though: https://q2developer.com/marketplace. The way I would approach it is to do a simple overpanel or Modal: https://cdn1.onlineaccess1.com/cdn/base/tecton/v1.19.0/Documentation/index.html#/ui/modal-overpanel from a widget: https://docs.q2developer.com/guides/frontend_development/widgets.html and you can just do it for a period of time, or you can store somethi...
