Q2 method/function/product to convert web form to PDF

Objective:
Capture a completed form as PDF, convert PDF to base64, send base64 over API call to import the PDF into a document repository.

Does a Q2 built-in method already exist for:

  1. Capturing the form as PDF
  2. Converting PDF to base64

The details:
Let’s not recreate a wheel if it already exists! We have extensions that display web forms for people to complete and submit (for example, enrolling in a service we provide). We need to capture that form as a PDF and send the PDF into our document repository. Does Q2 have a built-in method, or already developed a process, that will convert the form to PDF? Specifically, not the entire online banking page as a screenshot, just the actual form itself. Then, does a Q2 method already exist to convert PDF to base64? We have not yet found anything in forums or SDK documentation to fulfill our needs with Q2 products. If no such means exists within Q2, that's a perfectly fine and valid answer; we will build a means, we simply want to avoid wasting effort building something that already exists.

Thank you, Brian! I appreciate your response, and your tip. We'll work our creative gears to generate a solution. If we come up with something plug-and-play or easily tweaked-to-fit, I'll seek company approval to share the solution.

We do not. We've done some work on "take a screenshot of the page and make it a PDF" type stuff in some internal repos, but it's a little weird. It's not exactly a screenshot, but kind of a "pretend you're a browser with selenium and render a React widget". I wouldn't recommend that path.
