Capture event - user login

Hello all!

We are trying to figure out a way to capture when a user logs in and post that data back to a callback URL.
We really would just need CIF, Customer ID, User ID, and Logon name, but I don't see anything in the API for setting/managing triggers/events.

Does such a thing exist, and if so, how do we go about doing it?

Hello,

There isn't a way for the Caliper API to subscribe to events like that. You would have to build an SDK Audit Handler Extension to do this. https://docs.q2developer.com/docs/tutorials/audit_action/index.html

Hello Trey,

Thanks for that. I'm trying to read through all that, but I'm not finding like a listing of what's required. If I build such an extension, does it run in the online banking environment, or do I need a server ( I guess two?) to host the connector (and my web services on the other?).

All SDK services are run in the Q2 Environment as a set of containerized load balanced services. Then if you want it to call your service you would have to build and maintain that piece as well as whitelist your service.
