Can we implement an SSO using tecton.actions.openURL?

Hello!

We need to display an account selection page where users can choose an account for a SSO session. We're currently building a SSR Tecton extension and are considering passing the SSO URL to the frontend and opening it in a new tab using tecton.actions.openURL(). Since we cannot embed the site in an iframe, would this be an appropriate alternative to the SSO Extension and Enhanced SSO?

tecton.connected.then(function() {
        tecton.actions.openURL('{{sso_url}}', { showInOverpanel: false, nativeBrowserIfInApp: true, requiresToken: false });
});

Thank you,
Vivian

Hello, it probably is possible to do that. However, I am not sure the cleanest way. I would probably have a Tecton extension with an account page with account logic and that way you could maybe even have it in a widget. Then the link out be an SSO extension that is called via NavigateTo. Might be best to do a couple quick proof of concepts in the sandbox and see what seems to be working best.
