There is no python object that has this information by default currently. You would have to pass it from the frontend to the backend.

Server-side access to device type and inMobileApp values?
On the client side, we can see window.Tecton.inMobileApp (a boolean) and window.Tecton.device ("phone", "tablet", "desktop").
