Talkdesk - doubts to do the member lookup

Hello,

My name is Ricardo Tavares, I'm PM of Talkdesk and I was already in toutch with Richard Landry and Brian Mego in order to embebed Talkdesk chat widget in Q2 . According with our last meeting on the 30th August, we will start working on our side to add the TD widget in your marketplace but before that I have a couple of questions:
*

  • What is the best way to store/retrieve AccountId, Region and FlowId from configuration?
  • In order do the member lookup and get member's information (such as account information) from the banking core, we will need to identity the member based on a unique data. How can we get access to data to identity the customer? What kind of data do you have on your end to identity a member? It dependent on the bank but usually we use member_ID or SSN to identity a given member.

Thank you,
Ricardo Tavares

For config use WEDGE_ADDRESS_CONFIGS (https://docs.q2developer.com/tutorials/online_banking/configuration.html?highlight=wedge_Address) Values cannot have < or &,maybe more. For these use HTML equivalent, example & = &

In an SDK page the data in self.account_list: houses the currently logged in data:
Run repgen in Symitar (https://docs.q2developer.com/tutorials/q2_cores/index.html):
#Repgen to run
query = await self.core.build_base_query('SYC.REPGENRUNNER',
'RewardsValidationAndPrimeName', #rgstate to be used in the Repgen
account.cif_internal_unmasked, #Account num the repgen will run as.
rg_params={
'RGUSERCHR1':account.acct_number_internal
},
#what the repgen will return
mock_response_string =build_mock_response(sycresponses.SYCSUCCESS)
)
try:
response = await query.execute()
self.logger.debug(response.payload) # exact string returned.
# there are error checking that we can check
response_obj = objectify.fromstring(response.payload)
# can check the response via response_obj.response.text
response_text = response_obj.PrimName.text
primename = response_text
iseligible = response_obj.IsEligible.text
# if it excepts out tack on : to signify there was an exception,
# but not too obvious
except:
# if we get here Symconnect failed, add Subtle : to show this.
primename = primename + " : "
