← How to tell which environment code is running in

Hello Draden,

There are a few ways to do this. To just have a simple DEV, STG, or PROD. Import from q2_sdk.core.configuration import settings then call settings.DEPLOY_ENV to get 'DEV', 'STG', or 'PROD'. This will only differentiate between those three and FIs can have multiple 'STG' environments. So do be careful how you depend on this variable.

If you need environment specific data like for every installed location I recommend using Wedge_Address_Configs(https://docs.q2developer.com/tutorials/online_banking/configuration.html). In general this is the best way to have environment specific data.

Hope this helps,

@<1293619705470259200|Trey Teter> So there's no way to tell if in dev/stage/prod? I have to install the wedge_address_configs for every environment and change them by hand for each env?

I'm trying to call a diff api for dev/staging/prod and the api won't change from bank to bank when deployed to prod. I don't want to have to set my apiURL in wedge address configs to some value locally, then when I push to staging/prod change it to a different value. Makes for a painful deployment process. Is there a more frictionless way?
