Embedded Client Side Script

Hello I had a general question about adding in client side scripts to a Q2 extention. If I build an extension with client side rendering and in the front end code I place a <script> tag, is there anything that would block this script from running?

There should not be anything keeping the script from running other than what the browser deems not valid scripting language. As long as you send the script to the frontend it will run.
