How can I generate a SAC and send it to a user via phone call?

I am trying to generate a SAC (Secure Access Code) and send it to a user via phone call. For generating the SAC, I am currently just using a random numbe generator to push out some six-digit code, storing that, and ensuring that the user's input must line up with what has been generated. Is there a better way Q2 would recommend via APIs or DBObjects? Also, once this code is generated, how can a user receive it via phone call?

Hey Ethan,

Q2 does have a set of Q2Api endpoints that can be used to generate a SAC code and send it to the end user.

https://docs.q2developer.com/api_references/hq_api/q2_api/GetEndUserAccessCodeTargets.html -- Get a list of targets to send the access code to

https://docs.q2developer.com/api_references/hq_api/q2_api/CreateEdvSecureAccessCode.html - Generate the SAC code and send the code
https://docs.q2developer.com/api_references/hq_api/q2_api/ValidateEdvSecureAccessCode.html - Validate the code that was submitted by the end user

Please note that the delivery method of Voice probably won't work in the sandbox, but should work in a Q2 PTE environment.

Thanks for resources. Quick question on it: what benefit does generating SACs with the APIs offer over generating my own "SAC" with a random number generator? Is it more secure in some way?
