How to obtain Address ID despite not having the Address ID?

Question

I am running into a problem where I need the Address ID to perform some operations (use AddChangeOfAddress). When I look at the database documentation under "Address", attempting to get the AddressRow requires the Address ID. That is the issue, though, as pulling the data from the DB requires the exact thing I need from the DB.

How can I easily obtain the Address ID from the DB without running into errors with data that I do not have?

Part of the User object you will have access to in the request is the DefaultAddressID This is what you should use to get that address gv
