How can q2 widgets be monitored?

From the docs, I understand that prometheus is used for metrics and alerting. Is there a way to connect our own monitoring to a Q2 widget? We use dynatrace for front end and back end monitoring. To take full advantage of it's features "OneAgent" needs to be installed to auto instrument code. Is that something that is supported and if so, could you point me to the documentation?

Hey Dario, we don't have any of those services available to you out of the box. Without knowing the specific details of what dnyatrace requires, we have seen partners successfully instrument their code with other libraries.

Implementation should be the same as it would be if you were instrutmenting you code outside of our system. Often times its installing a pip or npm package, initializing it and then adding the instrumentation end points to your code.

If it is sending data from our servers to your servers, we might need to whitelist those endpoints so that call from our DC can reach out to those new endpoints, just need a whitelist request submitted.

Anything beyond (deploying a dedicated service to our datacenter) would be outside of what we can do.
