After login interrupt page for update contact info or opt-in to some feature

I'd like to build an interrupt page after login to prompt the user to update their contact info or opt-in to some feature.

Is there a way to display a Caliper SDK extension in a modal popup after login?

Our recommendation to acomplish this would be to build a widget for the landing page (https://docs.q2developer.com/guides/frontend_development/widgets.html) and use its execution to launch a modal (https://cdn1.onlineaccess1.com/cdn/base/tecton/v1.9.8/Documentation/index.html#/capabilities/showModal) or overpanel with the tecton javascript.

There would be no UI to the widget itself, just Javascript to launch the modal or overpanel.

Thanks Ryan for the information.

We are potentially working with a various FIs that have asked for a similar modal interrupt prompt after login. We will share your suggestion with them, but if they still really want a modal interrupt page after login, is there a way to do it?

Anything you would want as an interrupt page, should be possible with the workflow Ryan mentioned. In the documentation, there used to be an interrupt workflow, but it was causing problems with Online Banking so we removed this functionality.

From a workflow and a developer perspective the way Ryan mentioned on how to do it is superior anyway. It allows for the services to not be dependent on each other. Which will allow Online Banking to work better.
