I see two good solutions. Personally, I would make a wedge address config that takes in the FI name. That way you can set exactly the data you want.
The other option is you can use the ABA number, and use that to determine what the FI is. There may be other ways to do this, but this is how I would do it.
Hi Chris,
If you are using an online client-side extension then you can add a key in wedge_config per FI. if you are using SSO extension you need to add the key in vendor_config.and if suppose your project contains multiple extensions you can also grab the wedge or vendor config details of SSO extension in other extension with the following Q2 methods.
accessing vendor configs of SSO extension in other extensions
from q2_sdk.hq.db.vendor_config import VendorConfig
from q2_sdk.hq.db.vendor import Vendor
vendor_obj = VendorConfig(logger=self.logger) # need to pass logger argument
vend_res = await vendor_obj.get(
vendor_name="extension_name", serialize_for_cli=False
)
accessing wedge configs of client-side extension in other extensions
from q2_sdk.hq.db.wedge_address import WedgeAddress
wedge_object = WedgeAddress(self.logger)
config_node = await wedge_object.get(short_name='extension_name')
res = json.loads(config_node[0].Config.text)
