Does Q2 need complete URLs?

  1. Does Q2 require complete URL(s) with subdomain to whitelist (sbcs.billerpayments.com, sbcs.orbipay.com,) or whitelisting can be at domain level (*.billperpayments.com, *.orbipay.com)
  2. Does Q2 Whitelising based on the IP or SubDomainName/Domain Name?
  3. Can we get more details on how the whitelisting at Q2, so that i can goback to my Systems team and provide correct details while we submit the extension deployment to Staging.

Thanks for your response. But, i am looking at can Q2 configure at only at domain level instead of including the sub-domain name. let me explain a bit more details what i was referring to the main domain name. Say domain name abc.com has 3 sites a.abc.com, b.abc.com, c.abc.com then in this we should include all FQN or just .abc.com. In addition to this, the whitelisting done at Network layer 7 or 5.

  1. Yes whitelisting can be a domain level names
    for example:
OUTBOUND_WHITELIST = [
    'abc.com', 'bcd.com'
]
  1. yes it is based on Domain Name and For access in an environment hosted in the Q2 datacenter.
  2. https://docs.q2developer.com/support/index.html?highlight=outbound_whitelist#i-need-to-whitelist-a-url
