0 Best practices for global wedge address configs

Hello,

Having this in settings.py is fine, but I would recommend just choosing an extension to contain the shared configuration value and putting a cache over top of this that is service level that only goes to the database once every acceptable period of time. Could do once an hour and then we can clear the cache if an immediate update is needed.

The containers themselves have a level of self testing that we run through security scans before they can be deployed. Once the service is s...

0 Server-side access to device type and inMobileApp values?

Hello,

There is no python object that has this information by default currently. You would have to pass it from the frontend to the backend.

1 showModal automatically close

Hello Sai,

UUX doesn't support a method to close the modal via javascript. There are some weird ways to potentially accomplish this, but currently there is no easy or clean way to do this.

You could use an overpanel which has close overpanel, but unfortunately modal doesn't have this ability.

0 Request to Increase Accounts Balance

Hello Jerome,

For Salesdemo_experimental, Q2 is the one to increase those account balances. To increase those, please create a ticket on developer.q2.com/support/create.

For the sandbox, You can just go to the Q2_HostAccountData table and increase the amount for a particular account.

0 How to determine if a login is deleted in the database

Hello Ethan,

For a login there is a table that is called Q2_UserLogon with a column DeletedDate, If that column is populated, then that login has been deleted. Q2_User is very similar with table name Q2_User and column DeletedDate.

-1 SSO Extension

Hello Derek,

Slightly counter intuitive, buy you actually need to make it a tecton extension for this to work. See https://docs.q2developer.com/guides/frontend_development/enhanced_sso.html

0 Access Q2 Database

Hello Surya,

You are allowed to query the sandbox databases see the guide here: https://docs.q2developer.com/setup/local/connect_sandbox_database.html
The sandbox is the exact same schema as Staging and Production there is just different data in each.
Staging and production environments are not open for you to query directly. If you need to know what is in a particular table in Staging or Production you can reach out to Q2 Support.

You may also want to pull this information via Centra...

1 How do I identify the FI in a multitenant SSO?

In SDK versions of 2.164.0 and newer, this is automatically pulled from vault properly for multitenant extensions. So now you can just do self.hq_credentials.aba
