Tecton Q2Calendar - Storybook rendering issues

Hello,
I am currently developing a new Q2 Extension and using React library and storybook to view individual components locally. I've created a simple component which uses the Q2Calendar tecton component. When I run the application and view it in the sandbox environment, I am able to see it render, but when I run storybook, I am not seeing the Q2Calendar component rendering. So, is there any additional configuration we need to get the Q2Calendar working in storybook?

Hello Veda!

Without seeing your code and implementation, it is almost impossible to know what might be going on. I know we looked at Storybook a couple of years ago, but it didn't have great support for Web Components, so we never gave it a second look. If you're trying to create React components that wrap the Tecton components, we have those provided by the Stencil library already (Documented here).

The two things I would check if I did have access to you code is:

  1. Check if customElements.get('q2-calendar') returns anything
  2. Check in the <q2-calendar> has a stencil-hydrated attribute on it, or has a shadow root in the Elements tab

If both of those are good, then it might be a conflict between Storybook and it's support of web components.
