Recreating Quick Transfer overpanel functionality in a custom button

Hello!

I am having an issue trying to get the Quick Transfer overpanel to show by clicking on a custom button. I already have the event listener working for a React CSR extension:

  useEffect(() => {
    document.querySelector("#quickTransferButton").addEventListener('click', () => {
      tecton.actions.navigateTo('application', [], { overpanel: 'quick-transfer' });
    });
  }, []);
	```
	but when I click on the button I get:  Uncaught (in promise) SyntaxError: "undefined" is not valid JSON at JSON.parse (<anonymous>)  at e.setupOverpanel (vendorapp.js:17639:86)
	Any ideas why it's doing that? See screenshot: ![Screen Shot 2023-03-22 at 3.16.48 PM.png](/upload/files/1679512623533_Screen%20Shot%202023-03-22%20at%203.16.48%20PM.png)
Hi John,
It looks like we've had a change in the platform that now requires a new property to be passed into the quick-transfer overpanel and requires a change to our documentation.
This should allow you to open the quick transfer overpanel correctly without the to or from account prefilled.
tecton.actions.navigateTo('application', [], { overpanel: 'quick-transfer', 'overpanelId': '{}' });
You also now have the option to pre-select a to or from account with the account id.
tecton.actions.navigateTo('application', [], { overpanel: 'quick-transfer', 'overpanelId': '{ "overpanelId": 5008, "isToAcct": false }' });
We are looking to improve and replace this interface of opening existing overpanels in a future release.
Best,
Adam, thanks for the information! Where does overpanelId come from? Like how would I get it for the transfer overpanel? Also, is there a reference to the other properties currently? If not can I get them until the documenation is updated?
Unfortunately those are internals of the platform so they are not documented at this point. The above should work for 'quick-transfer', but I would advise against use of the 'transfer' overpanel at this time as its only intended as a workflow to edit transfers and not create them. We are looking for a better api to handle and expose the provided overpanels of the platform and their accepted parameters and hope to get that into an upcoming Tecton release.
