Notification After Specific Time Period

We are working on a demographic update extension, and one capability we would like is there to be an alert that pops up on the home page for the end user to update/confirm their demographic info after a certain length of time (6 months, a year, etc).

Is there a way to accomplish this, or is there something in the Marketplace that can accomplish this?

There is definitely a way to do this. I don't think anything is in the Catalog that can do this, you are welcome to look through it though: https://q2developer.com/marketplace. The way I would approach it is to do a simple overpanel or Modal: https://cdn1.onlineaccess1.com/cdn/base/tecton/v1.19.0/Documentation/index.html#/ui/modal-overpanel from a widget: https://docs.q2developer.com/guides/frontend_development/widgets.html and you can just do it for a period of time, or you can store something in third party data if they have gone to that page through the notification or not: https://docs.q2developer.com/api_references/q2_sdk/db/db_objects/third_party_data.html?highlight=thirdpartydata#q2_sdk.hq.db.third_party_data.ThirdPartyData
