How do I retrieve vendor configs defined in my SSO extension from my marketplace ProductRequestHandler?

In my SSO extension I defined a set of VENDOR CONFIGS that I can retrieve within my Q2SSORequestHandler with calls like appid self vendor configs get APPID How can I get at those same VENDOR CONFIGS from within my marketplace ProductRequestHandler

I see that I can retrieve the Vendor Configs as follows:

response = await self.get_vendor_config('XXX')

where XXX is the name of my SSO extension. This failed for me initially because I was using our company name instead of the SSO extension name for XXX.
